Got it yesterday and installed it last night It is awesome Speed limiter removed Rev limiter raised to 8000 Phuckin sweet. Gettin my Apexi AVC-R Boost Controller in a few days. Then the real fun begins WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO

 

what kind of ECU did you get and where dammit where dammmit.. did you get it?....

 

I got a MINES ECU (VX Rom) for my EVO VII. Mines shipped it to me from Japan.

 

so... you gonna sell your 300zx? i'll give you a grand for it...

don't set your boost over 1.3-1.4 bar. The mines ecu cannot accomodate anything more. Also, when running high boost monitor your exhaust temp. If you are running stock exhaust, temp. can climb very high (more than 1000C).

Thinking of replacing my mines ecu with autronic, ALS would be nice.

Any1 ever study the whole Autronic setup... they have a "auto tuner"... which would be such a good piece....

 

I have looked into this also. There is one concern about the Autronics unit. It can control both the A/C and AYC. you have to choose, according to the, you put in a relay to control A/C. I also heard the Motec offers a auto-tune feature. We(E.I. first five cars) are getting the Gems unit. Well maybe, if we ever get our cars!!!!

Trini7: Didn't you encounter a problem with the immobilizer when you changed the ECU? I guess Mine's had that figured out already because for Motec and Apex'i Power FC, the car won't start.

I guess the Mine's VX Rom had a big difference huh?
