Shattered Center Diff

My friend shattered his center differential while OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Can the Evo 8 center diff be replaced by a previus DSM AWD diff?

An used diff would be much cheaper than a new mitsu unit.

Man, I am not trying to be too mean, but what did he expect? These cars are just not made to put up with that kind of treatment, if you want to do donuts then get a RWD car.

Why post this crap? It has nothing to do with the question asked. He didnt ask you if his friend should do doughnuts in his car or if he should buy a rwd car. And awd nuts are way more fun than rwd ones

Who would have thought a rally car would be too ***** footed to do doughnuts. Not that I would do em anyway.

Every drivetrain has its limits - it depends on the driver how long it will last when pushed past those limits. Some last a long time and some dont. Nevertheless donuts and powerslides are fun - otherwise we wouldnt do them. I think everyone has done burnouts or powerslides in their beaters and their friends beaters and their parents beaters - why wouldnt we do them in our high powered hot rods?

Hey....dont feel bad...I tossed one in my GSX about 5 years ago doing the same thing. I am 99% sure that they dont swap though. When I blew mine I had to get a new one, and it wasnt cheap to say the least. I also agree that nobody needs to give the guy crap, he asked a simple question. A few lines from someone in the know would have answered it for him.
