I am curious to know what actually fails in the transfer cases. I mean the failures from drag racing/clutch dropping/squirreling around. What breaks? It looks like there is a shaft within a shaft - does that break, or the center diff gears, or what? Please reply only if you have blown one up and you know how it failed - I just cant find info on the actual failure scheme.
