OK so im about to get a 1G valve off a buddy for like 5 bucks who owns a supra. My greddy Type S stripped out this morning, and I was wondering what all I will need to install the 1G on the Evo in the stock location?? I already have the 2G adapter kit that came with the Type S, but will that adapter fit the 1G valve?? also is there any thing else I will need to do to squeeze the 1G valve in the stock location??? Thanks.

you need a similar adaptor like the greddy had, but with the 1G flange. problem is...you can adapt a greddy to a 1g flange, but you can't adapt a 1g to a greddy flange. the 1g is larger and the bolts are spread wider apart.

if i were you i would buy and tap and die kit and replace the stripped threads inside the greddy. it's a better valve anyway.
