HKS 272 cams without fuel management

How bad would the Evo run with HKS 272 I/E cams, cam gears and fuel pump without any fuel management? Im sending out my ECU next week for a Dynoflash but I wanted to see if the car would run well enough without the dynoflash so I can compare before and after Dynoflash with the cams installed.

You'd probably experience poor idle.. without the ability to adjust anything.. the upgraded fuel pump will increase fueling slightly so it may help, but its certainly going to hurt drivability until you can get the ECU tuned.

Yeah I was thinking the fuel pump would help idle a little and I was going to set the cam gears to -4/-1.5. I was only going to run without fuel management for a couple days until I send out the ECU for the Dynoflash. Guess I will see how rough it is.

It wasnt too bad. I actually liked the aggressive sound of the cams. With them set at -4/-1 the idle was smoother but you could still hear the cams. I tried it also at 0/0 and it wasnt smooth at all. I will usually set it at 0/0 if I really want to get attention with my car.
