my MBC is F'd UP

Hi all,
I just installed my Hallman Pro Boost Controller and some funny **** is happening. First my CEL Came on (I think that is due to my Test Pipe I installed a few days ago). But then when I got on the throttle I'm only reading about .85 bars of boost (that's somewhere around 12 PSI). I checked all my hoses and they're in the right places. ANyone have any suggestions or common errors? I have a 3" turboback exhaust, the MBC and Dynoflash. I don't know what the hell is going on. ANy help, thanks in advance.

If your hoses are correctly hooked up then first take the MBC apart and put in the heavier spring, then crank it down. Now that your factory solenoid is disconnected, the max boost you will see is 11 psi which is what the stock wastegate will allow with the MBC turned out all the way. Also, I would hook it up between the BOV and the intake manifold despite what the manual says. I have the Hallman Pro RX and had a ***** of a time putting it in Sunday night. If you didn't get the one that comes with another spring, just try turning up the boost.

If you disconnected the wiring from the factory solenoid, you'll guarantee a check engine light.. Unfortunately you need to keep the stock solenoid connected to the harness even though its not doing anything. If its still connected, and you got a CEL, reset the ECU, and then check for leaks. Also, if you have a major vacuum leak on the same line as your MBC and Boost gauge, it'll read low, and also overboost.. so verify everything is in check..

Stupid me

Ok, for some reason I was under the impression that having the boost controller turned all the way down would mean I'd be getting stock boost. So I turned it about 6 turns and now I'm holding about 1.36 bars. Thanks for the help everybody.
