ok im new and i have a 2002 Lancer OZ 5 speed and have a question for you EVO guys i have a wrecked EVO and ive moved alot of things over arready but my Lancer is depressingly slow i want to rebuild the Lancer Engine with EVO engine parts like head, cam, piston and hopefully turbo. i have a 6000 dollar budget to do this with and would appreciate your guy's input and help

can't interchange engine parts.....totally different motor. just buy rrm's turbo kit.

 

I think you can do a complete engine and gearbox conversion from the evo to the lancer... It was possible on the evo 1-6. What some guys do in malaysia is get Half-cuts and move everything from the evo including the dash and body panels as well as the engine and gearbox. What you won't get is the stronger chassis... besides that i think its all good!
