service engine soon??!!

So if anyone can help me here i have a problem.... i went to the dealer the other day to get my oil change.. and on the way there my service engine soon light came on... i was like " hmm i wonder what was wrong "... so i go there. and i sat there for ehhh 1hr and 15 min waiting.... i was thinking... what a long oil change... when i got my bill it was 58.05... so i thoguht nothing of it and paid... when i left i read over what they did and it said " cylinder 3 misfire... code cleared ".... so its been 4 days since then and my engine light came back on... what could the problem be... was that misfire a severe problem that should be looked at more indepth....

oh and if it helps... sometimes when i'm at a light my car is about to stally goes to like 400 rpm then it catches itself and is fine... only does this every soo often.. ( i have no mods of any sort )...

oh and another thing... does an exhaust void warrenty??...

if anyone can help me that would be great....

Sounds to like you need a new set of plugs. That's a cheap thing to eliminate and could be the cause of all your issues. If you have no mods and your car still under warranty let mitsu figure it out.

Exhaust should not void your warrantly unless you have altered emissions (no cat) or if they can prove it caused some other damage. But then they will not fix that damage. You're warrantly should be "void" though. In other words, if you have a problem with your cat after the install, they likely won't cover it. But if you have axle snap there is no way the exhaust was at fault so they would cover that. Or should.
