mine measured 2 5/8" at the smallest point. and I stated that in a post about the system two months ago. maybe the exhaust has changed?

yeah your must be different as well the smallest point in my exhuast is 2 5/8 inch, ive had it on the dyno, w. a perrin 3 inch dp and the expelir jgt500 exhuast i got a 17whp increase...

It's been a long time since I looked at the pipe, (you know, senior moment) but isn't the inside of the resonator a covered in holes pipe within a larger pipe? if that is the case wouldn't you figure that at more than 2"? but like i said I don't remember and maybe the system has changed
