HKS EVC V question
Well I got it all in. Probably only took about an hour. Heres the question, on the peak hold display it says im boosting a max at 18.8 but my boost guage says just under 20. Which one is off? On the gain part it is set to 66.
The way the hoses were hooked up:
1: From the wastegate (duh)
2: From the BOV vacuum line
3: From the turbo outlet, little black port
Any ideas anyone. TIA

No, chances are the boost controller is more accurate then the boost gauge. Especially if it is an Autometer. You didn't pay over $500 for a boost controller for it to be inaccurate at knowing the boost.
Your connections description tells me nothing. It sounds like the controller is working. It is very important that you installed the filters supplied.
Start by setting the "A" knob to about 50 and leave the gain at the default 100.
Raise the "A" 2-4 points until you approach your desired boost. If you want 19 psi steady then you need to set your max 1.5 PSI higher. Once you get the number you desire you can then play with the offset if you choose.
To raise the offset will make the boost come in harder. If you are going to raise the offset you will lose boost as you go. My "A" is up around 86 and my offset is like 174. Once you have the "A" setting all done then you can just duplicate it on "B" and make the adjustment to achieve you "B" desire.
Once you get it all setup you will love it. Hot to cold it does not require repeated adjustment. If you want that exact figure all the time though it is real easy to just change the offset a little to achieve it.

Mine is off too. Al (Dynoflash) says the HKS is off (also).
I tend to believe my Boost gauge rather than the HKS.
I've seen one other car where the HKS was off.
Go with the gauge.
HKS spent their money on the controller and solenoid, not the boost gauge part.
