If anyone has any experiences good or bad with the UTEC I would like to hear the feedback. I am really looking for performance experiences, ease of tuning, and TurboXS customer service experiences. I have had some issues with the Xede and Vishnu customer service and am looking for a replacement system.

UTEC F-ING ROCKS DUDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 IM LOVING MINE. The thing is awesome and stealth, i absolutley love it.

a kid at my school bought an 04 wrx. for xmas he got perrin i/c pipe, borla cat back, type-h bov, and AEM intake. he later bought the UTEC and continued modding the car. he loves it. he has since got the borla header, and txs d/p. he still runs on the stock fuel system at 20psi. he currently runs 13.5 with a full tank. every time he gets a new mod he gets it reprogrammed. he said its the best investment so far on the car. he also plugs his lap top into it to adjust minor things with fuel and boost at certain rpms. he also got it for 950 installed.

 

the u-tec is a great product and works very well on the evo's. if you are around the northeast talk to ken @pruven performance he really has got that computer down.you wont be disappointed

 

i have had one since about the day it came out (actually the first one nino sold...serial # 21) i've had 320whp for about 4 months now, and zero complaints. even with the temp change from NJ to FL (no i didnt drive down) it has been nothing but awesome. it works best with a dyno tune or a real air fuel road tune. This is my second utec, i had one on my wrx, and that was great as well. i'd say get one, you'll be very happy. the car starts right up...no ignition delay like aem ems.. but the ems will make more power eventually by taking out the mass air sensor and other factory stuff (like diagnostics
