evo_dadi,
I doubt the pipes would work for the stock airbox... The stock upper IC pipe goes above the stock intake tube, but from the pix, the Injen pipes are done the other way (intake tube over upper IC).

I think it's ingenious. I would have bought this kit if it had come out sooner!!

What Amaze me the most is the fitment. Every pipe line up perfectly against each other which took alot of R&D. Good job injen!
Obviously this not a fake recommendation from someone with 2 whole posts.

Actually Steve and Evolution are real and I would probably take his word if he said that the fitment was supurburb.

Evolution has done some decent work on 350Z/G35's in the area.

Thank you for your kind word Kanned.
Anyone who want to take a look at it in person can stop by the shop if you are near Northern Virginia. I don't think many people have it on their car yet. Took forever to get mine from Injen.

Dynos #'s? Without it, the pictures are useless (good for bling, I guess).

Injen rep, how can you advertise a performance part for a Evo and not show the dyno results? I am pretty sure that during the R&D phase for this intake, Injen produced dyno numbers. Post up, depending on what is found performance wise, you may make some sells and help your company compete. Like it was said earlier, the Evo market is very tough.

I got ahold of injen and asked some of the questions...

Will the piping fit and work with the stock air box? No.

Lower piping included? Yes, I have seen this myself. Throttle body to IC and turbo to MAF.

Of course, no dyno numbers... they said that it won't make 20 hp, but the complete setup was good for ~ 10hp. Not sure if the EVO will lose the bottom end like most intakes.

As for leaning the car out, they use a wideband when engineering and dyno tuning the intakes so the intake will keep you in safe levels if you don't want to fine tune (read piggy back or stand alone ecu), for those of us who care about the warranty...

Dyno numbers in a couple of weeks they say...

My $0.02... so far with no dyno numbers, it would make the engine bay flashier and bigger pipes might be good..., which is still not good enough for me.

Evo Motorsports is saying "Dyno tested 20 wheel HP peak gain." Ok, I said i needed dyno numbers to push the purchase, and I guess I got them! I am picking the setup today and will let you guys know what the a$$ dyno says... Not to knock Evo motorsports, but &399.99 is too much, glad I have a cheaper source.
