Anybody have Buschur Intake Manifold

I saw that Buschur sells a sheet metal intake manifold for $650. Anybody have one or heard anything about it? Price is nice compared to others.

We do have them, completely changed design from what we have made in the past. Beautiful.

We have installed a few of them and if we can ever get our car back on the dyno we will be getting some hard numbers on them to post.

We have also made sure to get all the brackets and such correct on it. We have seen a couple come through here that had no provision for the dip stick mount. Be careful.

Sorry about the confusion, I thought your intake manifold was a long way off or I would have waited for it instead of getting the Magnus! Oh well.

Hey, you guys have been holding out on me.. the Manifold and a throttlebody are the two next items I was planning on purchasing!

So, how "bolt-on" is this one compared to all the others? Is it a PITA install like the Magnus?

You guys have a throttle body yet too?

I'm interested in picking this thing up as well....I called buschur and they said this thing doesn't add any lag to turbo spool and they've seen around 30 hp increase as they've said on their webpage.....I asked about the installation and all the guy told me was you just take out your old intake manifold and swap in this one. Is this thing really that trouble free to install? If so that'd be great....also, what are some people's opinions on how well this manifold will work with a throttle body from works.

Yes it is a fairly simple install but is time consuming. I would say it would take a good mechanic 4-5 hours to do the swap out on the 2. And the lag really isnt affected because stock the intake manifold still uses pretty short runners as does this.It will be a great add on especially once some bigger major mods are added to the car, and there have been gainsof 20-30 hp by adding this piece. Also it is available for use with the OEM throttle body or a 3" throttlebody that we sell here.I hope this clears a few things up in the decision of going with this manifold for you guys. Thanks and take care.

Can you give any more information on the gains of 20-30 hp that you have seen? That's a lot. Was that on a run-of-the-mill 300-350 whp car or something much more radical with a big turbo, cams and race gas level boost?

Will this intake manifold and 3" throttle body fit with the stock positioned IC piping? I have the RMR piping. should it fit?

Yes that gain is on cars that have cams, bigger turbos and run race gas. With further tuning to accomodate the manifold on a more mild car I would say you would see anywhere between 10-30hp.The car will need to be re-tuned to get the full potential out of it for your new current setup. If you guys have anymore questions please let me know or feel free to ask. Thanks and take care!
