I am runing a CATLESS exhaust and so I am forever going to have a CEL, right? NOPE I am not, for some freaking reason the CEL has gone off. No the bulb is not burned out. Does anyone have any suggestion to why my CEL would go off? Kinda has me worried. Ohh and I have a very small exhaust leak in the flex section of my downpipe. Please any and all suggestion would be appreciated!

Tony some times it takes a while for the cel to come on. If you doing alot of fast driving IE not really crusing the cell will not come on for a while. The Cel only comes on when you are crusing and the OBDII does a system check.

I don't know if the Evo is like some other cars out there. But I do know if some cars don't throw a code (like the cel) after so many starts the light will turn off. If I was you just incase I would go and get an o2 sinulator and put it on your car. Perrin makes one I heard it's pretty good and I'm sure ther is some more out there by now for the Evo.

 

same here, since i got the randomtech highflow cat, the cel comes on but only when the weather changes, weird huh?

So your telling me that even though I don't have a CAT, that me CEL can actually go off? I was under the impression that if you go CATLESS that you will always have a CEL. HMMMMMM
