FMIC or Cams, injectors and pump?

OK but this is all "in theory" until someone brings forth DYNO proven or track proven results from WATER INJECTION.
Track proven for water injection? It has bin for years! You run your engine and you are starting to get detonation, you run water you it stops. Simple as that. I never said it would “give you” anymore power, I said it would “let you” get more power! Please do a search and read up on it. It does work!
Thanks Chris

Telling you that Cams would be a MUCH BETTER upgrade then a FMIC. The Stock Turbo is PERFECTLY matched to the Stock FMIC. The Stock piping could be addressed and the lower pipe should.

No no no, i mean on the EVO specifically. We should all know by now that different cars respond differently to mods . . . Which is why the tuning "track" for the WRX is so different from the tuning track for the EVO. . .
FYI . . . Works uses water injection on their EVO, and with a gt35 no less, they aren't doing much better than modded EVO's running the stock turbo. They actually did worst in the last shootout.
Several tuners have already shown their skepticism towards the benefits of water injection on the EVO . . . but it has yet to be proven on paper. Have YOU yet to see any documented results on an EVO?

ALL:
Thank you all for your replies: I DID IT! CAMS, injectors, fuel pump, head studs.....and FMIC along with lower piping.
I guess you were right, whoever said I would do it all anyways.

How much labor did you pay for CAMS installation?
Do you have to upgrade the Fuel Pump and Injectors if you install CAMS?
Or would the stock injectors and pump work with the CAMS?
Thanks

good point alex alex. all engines respond diffrently to difrent moddifcations. generaly you wiull find that "routes" are taken with diffrent types of engiens thoguh. for forced induction, it is to free up the flow, both in and out, then focus more on fueling and boost.
i have not seen any writen everdence of the benerfits. i have only heard of peoples testomonies to it, but thats only on the *** dyno. you may be right that it is not as affective on the EVO as on other cars, but it WILL help that is one thing that has to be said. it is just the level of benafit that it will give you that needs to be defined!
thanks for pointing this out to me mate. i will ask around on some UK site to get thier opinions and exsperiences with it. any tuners out there like to somment????? please
thanks Chris
PS. i happy for you dangerous8, glad you got the whole lot done. its much easier than trying to decied which way to go. so you will be going for the 800bhp engine upgrade next then? LOL

Installation of the cams cost $65.00
I went with the HKS 272/272, 780cc injectors, walbro fp, AMS lower intercooler and AMS front mount . Oh yeah ARP head studs too.
I will post pictures later.
I will also try to find a place to post a quick video of the idle. (Growl!)
This is on SICK EVO!!! I highly recommend AMS for any future modification!
