Would such a thing improve performance anyway, with let's say a k&n dropin filter? The reason I ask is that I plan on getting a dynoflash as well, but would be unable to get one or the other first, since the car wouldn't run right with a full HKS suction kit, or a dynoflash setup for one with a stock airbox.

 

imo its not gonna have a significant with just the intake pipe but its definitely a smoother flow compared with the stock piping.i have the RMR intake pipe with an hks drop in and it seems to work out good.
