Catback and BOV comparison

Hey guys, I am trying to get some basics mods in my car. In regard to catback exhausts, I see about 3 great deals available right now. The choices are 5 Zigen, Espelier, and Helix. All three of these systems have a very attractive price right now. As far as I know they are fairly similar in that they are all 3" SS, takes the stock O2 sensor, and uses the stock hangers. I would like anyone with experience with any one of these to chim in about hp gain, sound, and durability. I am definitely looking for a system that is not too loud. But I also want to gain some hp, and want the system to accomodate future modes (up to about 300whp on 91 gas on a dynojet).

The other issue was the BOV. I wanted to replace the stock one. Is there any noticable gain with an aftermarket BOV? Most posts on this site recommend the recirculating type. There are two choices I can think of, which are the Greddy Type S and Forge Recirc. Any reason one might be a better choice than another? I really would appreciate some info from anyone who can give me some feedback. Thanks

id stay away from the Espelir exhaust, the restrictor on it tapers down to like almost 2 inches, according to another member on here. I would personally go with the Helix, b/c that one is 3" straight through for sure.

As far as BOV's go, im pretty convinced that you don't really need one unless you start running 22-23+ psi.

for BOV's, if you still want one for the looks or for the sound, from what i have heard, the Greddy and the Forge are indeed two of the better ones.

Helix for the cat-back. then you can add their test pipe and downpipe for cheap.

as for the bov the greddy type s with the spring mod if you want some sound between shifts. It drives just like or better than the stocker with some noise.

sanjay, if you're looking to get the Helix, www.harmanmotive.com is having a crazy sale right now, the parts are cheap, and INCLUDES install, and they're in Torrance.
