or you can spend 900 and get tuned by shit him self! and then pay even more! and then blow your engine...why do you guys have to try and persuade every dynoflash customer that xede is better? most people have minds, and can make up their own...

just my 0.02 cents

now back ON TOPIC.

Who has blown up their engine while using Shiv's tuned Xede?? What are you talking about?

And there should be no persuasion needed in re: to the comparison, numbers speak for themselves.

Plus, the Xede is 900. The dynoflash is 500. Why this comparison is inapposite:

1) even the X-FLASH, which costs the same as the dynoflash, makes more power
2) the Xede controls BOOST as well, and can control it as a function of RPM's. To get the same feature, you need an EBC, which costs around 300.
3) so you're, in essence, talking about a difference of $100. And the intake that the Buschur stages "require" costs $80.

This is a stupid conversation! Both have there benefits but if you really want to go into it your best bet would be the AEM EMS with UTEC a very close second. But you still will not find anything near the AEM as far as tuning ability.

Explain. What can the EMS and the UTEC do that the Xede cannot? Im not necessarily challenging youre point, im just asking for some support. And in case 2k4 doesn't actually have any reasons, everyone else feel free to chime in.

Your reading, logic and comprehension skills are on the 2nd grade level.

Re-read my post before you accuse me of trying to covert anyone or claim that Xede is better than Dinoflush.

I basically said that w/ a turbo upgrade a AEM EMS OR Xede makes more sense than a flash!!!
That's all, genius.

If you spend 900 on Xede you have issues. Or just money to throw away. Get AEM or Utec.

Well to start out the Xede is still a piggy back nomatter how you look at it compared to a full standalone so it is still working with the factory ECU in most aspects. The AEM has a built in 2-step, Programable Traction Control, Onboard Dataloger, Wet/Dry Nitrous Control, Instead of 2 maps to choose from the AEM lets you pick from like 200 maps that are stored (i know its in the hundreds not positive on the 200 though could be more could be less), AEM is full plug and play no wiring harness needed at all, 357 different load/rpm ratio points to adjust, and much much more. Check out there website if you want to get schooled on the benefits. Of course you do pay for it but you ever hear of you get what you pay for!!!

Not to take sides here, but isn't UTEC and the EMS actually more expensive than the Xede?

AEM EMS can do allot more then any other computer system on the market today. Why do you think all the big tuners are using the AEM? I wish there was a way i could show you all the features in the software. The downfall to the AEM is that it is not for a novice by no means. Extensive knowledge in the AEM is required to get it running good. Thats why you end up taking it to a AEM technician and paying them 1100 to get everything tuned and running right. But like i said it is well worth it and if you are planning on making 500+hp the AEM is the only way to go.
