My Engine (or Turbo) is acting weird~~

Hi, guys
i don't know too much about engine or turbo stuffs
so trying to seak for answers here

my engine is totally stock, no modification at all...now it's 6500miles
i was out of town for a month, and weird thing started after i came back

when i try to rev the engine up, the turbo starts to kick in around 3000rpm just like usual, when the turbo boost inscreases up to about 1.30 (sorry for got the unit, kPa?).......and drops back to 1.20 and then goes up to 1.37 again.....

2 questions:
1st, where is there a drop in the boost before it hits the peak boost?
before, it used to boost up all the way to peak bost before it starts to drop
and when that early boost drop happens, the RPM drops with it too, RPM drops around 0.3k.........at this time, ENGINE feels very weak

2nd, it used to boost up to 1.4 something, now it never reach 1.4

Anyone knows why? or even knows way to solve this problem?
sorry if i sound stupid, but just never had a turbo car before
don't know if this is normal

Weather change...Normal dude, turbocharged cars responds to climate change very drastically. was it hot or humid that day? What was the temp, humidity...ect.

for the pressure drop, it could be your timing being pulled . again normal if the weather changed. What kind of gas did you put in it? 94 oct?

thanks guys, but i don' tthink it's the gauge, cuz the rpm is doing that too

NAD1370>>>so turbo car is just sensitive to all different conditions right?
i don't see temperature effecting it yet, but using gas from different gas station sometimes makes a different
humidity, i'm not sure, maybe waether is an issue, cuz my car has never been in a summer yet
sigh, that's why i thought NA cars are more reliable than turbo charged cars?
any tips to take care of the turbo?

i was thinking of getting a Boost controller
but i have no mod to my engine at all, is that a safe mod?
anything else should be installed along with it?
and with boost controller, how much high boost can stock car hold up to?

I sort of have the same issue. My car stock would spike to 1.2 and then taper to 1.1. If I mash the gas in a higher gear, say 4th, I would go to 1.2 then fall to 1.1 then go back up to 1.25. This is off the OEM gauge. I suspect that I have a boost leak or something. I am going to tighten up my intercooler hoses to see if helps. My friend's Evo with the same gauge would spike to 1.3-1.4 and taper to 1.1-1.2. If it matters, I use Shell 93, Northeastern Ohio.
