help with engine codes clarification!
i just put on a test pipe with a mecanical cell fix, but it still caused my engine service soon light to come on. When i hooked data logger to it to see what the codes were and it ended up being 2 codes, but i dont know what they mean?
one code is p0420 catalytic efficency below threshold. does that mean that my 02 sensor is not reading enough o2, or reading too much as if its picking up as the catalytic convereter is not working or not on the car?
the second code is p0138 o2 high volts. i dont even know what that means?
any help or clarification will be very helpful. thanks

basically sounds like you put the 02 sim on wrong...Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then drive and see if the light comes back on....
p0420- comes on when you remove cat, or cat stops working...ect
other number for high 02 volts is the same you know, check it again...

the helix testpipe with the mecanical cell fix that has a tube welded on to the testpipe where the 02 sensor screws in so it will not read as much of the o2 form the exaust.
