i just got my new maf, waiting for nathan and the boys @ TXS to get the new utec update so we can plug in the new injectors and yank the rev limiter. i was on the dyno last week when my maf took a dump, so no real tuning on my 580 yet. soon, i hope!

There was apparently more room for power, but al didn't tune it too far. and was given a conservative fuel.

it made 414 whp peak on about 96 octane, and then put down 385 whp on a safe street tune

pretty darn close to what Az3ar's kit made with the ATP 3071, with stock cat and stock cams though. very interesting, though i don't think we can really tell much from just one tune of each kit!!

p.s. i guessed 384hp on pump

EDIT: evodave guessed 385!

You need to get an AEM EMS. The dynoflash is great, but with the BR500 you need the EMS. I know someone with the same setup and the EMS who will be getting dynoed, it will be interesting.

exactly what i was thinking.. so now the only thing that remains to be evaluated is who has the best power and torque under the curve etc.. because the price of the kits are identical..

Exactly, and today my friend I was at full boost by 4000 rpm and my cat is still stock. . I could not believe my eyes until my friend in the car confirmed 23 psi at 4050 rpm.

Well both kits are great in my view. However, With ATP you don’t get nice new manifold like BR but BR does not fit the stock one too. ATP you get a huge 3" DP. BR you don’t. See some ups and downs here and their, in the end it's your choice your money . BR is claming better results with internal WG ATP has external one.

Hey guys!!

we had a good day in my opinion....we did hit 385 on 96 octane and 322 tq. it was very HUMID inthe shop, and very hott, Al did a correction factor with the tempature and we made 419 on 96 octane...next week i will be hitting the dyno here in philly and using race gas to see where the 420-440whp comes in...track will be tonight!!!!! the ONLY downfall...........very very laggy......it was advertised 600 rpm's later than stock but its more like 1500 rpms later than stock....i think the 440 might be a better way to go, were not sure yet....i still have stock upper intercooler pipe so that may have a lot do with it and stock BOV.....the friggin thing pulls like a mother when you hit full boost i mean hard!!!! and the cams sound like im in a race boat at idle....it looks very clean, gr3eat install, and the flash made such a clean line, im gonna have the sheets up soon i beleive air/feul was 11-1, im not sure...thanks guys!

Any feedback from Robi regarding what boost threshold he's seeing? Granted, he's using the AEM EMS but it shouldn't be that different, should it? I don't think I could live with boost coming on at 4,500 rpm.
