Boost line off the head... no boosting... suggestions?

Today when i was putting back my stock bov on, i forgot to put the vacuum line back to the boost line off the head...

I went around the corner until about 6-7k rpm but guess what? sounds like it didn't boost at all!

Is this bad for the car, turbo or the engine? Because if it doesn't hurt, when i ever give my car to valet parking, i can simply take off the vacuum line so that he can't boost...??

any comments?

I'm assuming you mean that you didn't connect the vacuum line to the stock DV? If thats the case, It will open at very low boost.. Not so sure it wouldn't do any damage, but I had a vacuum line come off a DV before and it didn't appear to do any harm. Not something I'd do on a regular basis though.
