help with broken gasket!

i just got a greddy intercooler not to long ago and i accidentally broke the rubber gasket and i ended up having to make my own from a auto zone gasket. The problem is that the material was cheap and flimsy and now a couple of weeks later the gasket gave out and is causing a boost leak. I was wondering if any one knows where i can get the blue gasket that comes with the kit? much help with be appreciated.

the gasket that goes between the turbo and intercooler piping. yes i called greddy and they told me to call the place from where i got the intercooler kit to see if they can get me a new one. it seemed that when i talked to the guy at greddy that he had no clue what i was talking about.

the gasket material should be good....right now i am using cardboard from the back of notebook (although soon to be changed) when you put in the gasket did you soak it in oil. If not, soak it in some mobil 1 then install it. It has been working great for me.

but honestly...how much do you LOVE that boost leak from the turbo...haha...JK...i had one for 2 days when i installed my buschur FMIC

yes...the stock gasket is metal and it wont compensate for any inconsitences in the flange that connects to the bottom of the turbo. That is why you should use something that has pliable properties. I still havent changed the cardboad gasket that i installed yet

Go to any auto parts store and ask for some gasket paper. Cut it out to shape or use a little hammer to indent the shape of the pipe and then cut it out. You shouldn't need to wait for Greddy to ship you a gasket, its not worth the wait. Don't overtighten the bolts, this will split the gasket.
