Hard intercooler piping

I saw this kit around internet:

Nice look, but Why should I install this kit and Why I shouldn't?
I mean, Can this kit increase the turbo lag? or throw my max TQ rpm above the stock settings?

Obs: Considering an all stock car.

This is the Ralliart upper and lower intercooler piping kit. I think it is a large diameter pipe and you get rid of that stock rubber parts.
1- Large diameter? It would be good for high pressure turbo since there is more pressure to deal with and maybe not so good for a stock car since the turbo would delay a little more to achieve the right boost pressure = more turbo lag. Obs: I'm guessin here
2- Hard aluminum pipe- It would be good because the hard pipe doesn't dilate avoiding turbo pressure loss all over the rpm band. The aluminum could storage more heat than rubber and it is not good.

This kit is around 800-900

It would be good to talk with someone here with this kit installed to exchange ideas

Honestly I would spend your money else where, you can acheive more hp with other mods unless you already have them. I wouldn't do a full pipe set until you are ready to upgrade you IC after you have all the other basic boltons. Like Exhaust, Fuel and Spark and boost control. Just my suggestion hope it helps you decide.

Very true, I have an AMS FMIC and Lower Piping all for 900. Man I hope they get done fabbing their upper piece soon. Ralliart stuff is always priced high.

this is a pain to install. i have it. i paid over $1000 for it. i noticed no additional power or turbo lag. i now run around 22-23 psi and have no problems with leak or flex as some have had with the stock rubber.
