I just went out and looked at mine. There is a black box semi mounted onto the back of the fan, there is a harness plugged into the bottom of it. There is also a plug-in on the side of it that has nothing plugged into it. Maybe its the one on the bottom, its hidden and would be hard to notice if there was not a harness coming out of it. Ill go back out and check the color of the wires.

like i said there are two grey ones, the one off the maf is for the boost control solenoid, and i lied (forgot) but the fan relay comes off of the larger harness and drops down from the head light assembly.

its the boost control solenoid.

OK I re-read. You already checked what I was talking about above. Did you install your boost controller. If not, whoever did probably unplugged the harness for the factory boost control selinoid, which sounds like the plug your talking about.

Thnx for all the help, you guys Rock !!!

It was the boost selonoid and the fan isn't suppose to have anything plugged into it on the side. only the two on bottom (large and small)
