Vibrating sound from tranny???

Ok here is the deal when I rev my car up to about 5k rpms there is a really loud resenating, vibrating sound coming from the transmission. At first I thought it was my DP rattling but it is not, i got under the car and had my bud rev it up. I have no idea what it could be. I dont know if it is something to do with when I put my car in revervse and let and the clutch to go it makes a metal clank sound too. Its got me worried too. Any helps or hints to what you think it may be would be great.

the clunk is normal. everytime i go up my driveway and disengage the clutch "clunk". Its just really loud. The sound maybe be a heatshield or maybe a leak in the exhaust somewhere.

Hmmmmm I checked all of the heatsheilds and exhaust about 10 times so I am positive it is not that. It has me stumped.
