Ok I have a little problem
Actually I have a big problem I have been changing the clutch in my evo and everything has been going well until it was time to remount the tranmission. I have the clutch bolted up and it was time to put the tranny back on. Well nothing I do can make this thing line up. I mean getting it into positon while on your back is almost impossible, somehow I managed and had everything lined up but it still wouldn't slide on those last few inches
. I am really stuck, I turned the crank to make sure the gears were lined up to no avail. By the way I did this without removing the subframe or t-case. Any advice would be great, the only thing I am achieving right now is marring my new yellow ACT pressure plate
. HELP!!!!

Try adjusting the height/angle of both the engine and tranny. Sometimes those last couple of inches are the most stubborn. It sounds like you can get it close enough to almost get one of the tranny-to-block bolts in there. If you're confident in your abilities, grab a bolt (or bolts) that's longer than what you have and use it (them) to help bring the two together. Don't worry about the scratches. That ACT will still work if it's missing some of its pretty yellow finish
