Question problems with FORGED BOV ?? just me??

i just bought a forged diverter valve and around 6000 rpms i hear this wind sound like i'm loosing boost. the 6000 to 7000 rpm jump is slower and i feel a loss of power. i just put it in and called forged cause it comes with no paper work. they said to install it with the vac line towards the front of the car. friday a bunch of us drove to waterfest from boston (a s4, s2000, my evo and a supra) on the highway at high boost it was making the noise all the time. at waterfest forged had a booth set up and they told me two diffrent things one was to switch it around and that might work and the other was that it os set up to run to 17 psi and bleed it back off to 14 (the other guy at the booth said this wasnt true). i have no idea, at the hotel that night i switched it around and that didnt help still the noise. However all those VW 1.8ts sure were fun eating, they were like flys. every time we pulled out of the hotel they would swarm us. if your looking for a huge ego boost i would tell you to go to waterfest nest year. the whole weekend was spent 100mph +. anyway back to my FORGED problem can anyone help.

PS dont even waste your time with a supra on the highway. you will have your *** handed to you .
