clutch install help

I am trying to install my Cusco twin disc clutch and it did not come with the alignment tool. All the local dealerships won't sell me one and say it's a shop only tool. Any suggestions, can I do it by eye?

Pick up a Ford 20 alignment tool at your local auto store.

We used one that initially did not fit. I hammered it in and out of the Cusco over and over until it moved easily. Before you knew it a custom alignment tool was mad. I think it's here in my house somewhere because I jokingly was going to hand it from my mirror. We tried seven times without the tool and no luck. After we made it it only took one try and right in. Call George at Boost Solutions and ask him which tool we made it from and get one. It was very easy to make and took about five min of hammer beating. Good luck.

We already got the clutch in and you're right....the tool that worked was to a Ford Mustang. Who would have thought.
