my short Injen Intake and IC review on the install and kit...

Well, let's start on the parts...

Very nice quality on the pipes with seemless bends... the "swell" on the intake pipe is pretty interesting too (you'd need to see it in person)... I also got it in the black finish, which looks great and understated... the relocation bracket is the cheapest looking thing by far though, it's just a twisted piece of metal for the boost solenoid...

Now we're gonna jump to the performance part of it instead of the install... this will lead perfectly to the install part... how??? easy... I didn't get to try it yet since they forgot to send a part, sent a wrong part, and, had an issue line'n up the IC pipes... See, the injen kit uses the stock flex loom joint right after the IC on the throttle-body side... I left it on there at first, wouldn't line, then removed it and turned it certain ways, and in the end, it's still not together... even played with the piping too... I kinda got a lil' nerved by a piece missing from the kit... then the wrong right angle silicone connector got me a lil upset, then it not lining up for 10-15mins kinda made me call it quits for the night... tom i'll head to an autoparts store and find some 4mm heater/silicone hose for the missing piece and I've got a plan that can patch the issue till they send me the right part...

all in all, in theory and on paper it looks good, but so does communism... but nothings usually perfect and there's a slight chance i just got an odd ball kit... and once i get it together and test it out, i'll give the performance part of the review... I do however, have faith in the performance aspect... I installed many of intakes on DSM's, Celica GT-S's, Civics, (yada-yada-yada) and they all worked out nicely on the performance department...

Chris...

I'm alittle lost..... Are you talking about a shorty Injen intake and some new Injen intercooler or are you talking about the new Injen intake system with the upper intercooler piping?
