GT35/40R .63 and Manifold

Just got my ATP kit and thought i would throw some pictures up. I already put some of the whole kit in another thread called "ATP turbo kit is out and it is sick!" But these pics are of the manifold and turbo put together. I would highly recommend the ATP turbo kit to anybody that is looking for a kit. All the parts are machined beautifully and you get a great price. Also i got it next day aired for no addition charge. Customer service is great and people there are very knowledgable. Becouse they were late sending the product by 2 days they sent me all T-bolt clamps for the whole kit along with all new T bolt clamps to replace all the stock hose clamps on the intake and intercooler piping. I cant say enough good thing about them. THANX ATP!!

Well you will love this! I was going to get the JIC manifold then i came across this company called SSautochrome. They use 2.7mm piping which is thicker then any other tubular manifold that i have came across. Most are 2.0mm or 2.3mm. Also SSautochrome ports and polishes the manifold to match the gasket perfectly which is very nice they do this throughout the manifold. All the welds are beautiful and very clean. There are supports for every tube to help support the weight of the turbo. The Flanges are 3/8th thick which isnt too bad at all. OK you ready for the best part? I got it for $300 Brand New shipped! I figure that i will see if everything holds up over time but for the price i coudlnt go wrong. So i gave it a shot. Havent got it on the car yet but just from the looks i am very happy and to me it is just as good if not better then most of the others out there. Also it retains the twin scroll which is also ported and polished and it is equal length. Also it comes with all new gaskets for the install!

here is there website

It seems too good to be true! I saw a D16 turbo, manifold, and downpipe for $550 on EBay from them!

Wow!

I heard they use 304 SS. I know 321 SS is the best for exhaust. Here's a qoute from Burns Stainless:
"321 stainless steel tubing is one of the most desirable materials for exhaust systems because of its excellent resistance to fatigue and cracking at elevated temperatures.
It is usually the material of choice for high temperature turbo applications, unless extreme requirements indicate the use of Inconel."
Tell us how is does.
I follow the "you get what you pay for" motto.
Good luck

2k4EvoVIII: I suggest you actually measure the thickness of those runners, you'll be surprised at the thickness of it.

Hey guys thanx for all the comments. They due use 304 ss but i called them and they said it has a lifetime warranty from cracking. In fact if it cracks take a picture email it to them and they will next day air a new one to you so you dont have much down time. To me that is customer service. And like i said the price is great so i figured why not give it a try? So far i am very impressed with the welds and the port and polishing they have done. Seems to be well engineered!
I will keep you guys posted it will be going on this weekened.
