Time to bring this baby back from the dead!! AMS, any more information on this set up? We are still waiting on a price for it. So far Buschur has already posted about his alcohol set up costing $399. He hasn't really gone into details though as far as install, ease of use, etc....

we're working on it right now. I could sell it now as a universal kit but you guys wouldn't have fun installing it. The reason it's taking a while is that this will be a nice quick install. It will be custom made for the EVO 8 and I'm having custom brackets and lines made. Not to mention the stock IC sprayer will now be the WI supply bottle which has to be custom made with a low fluid sending unit and fittings. I should have something ready to go soon.

can someone please help me understand this....
i understand how it works, but, what if my ecu is flashed and i do not have a piggyback or standalone? will it still work safely? won't it throw off my tune?
also, if my MBC is set at 20psi will it run past that with this kit or do i need to adjust my MBC to a higher setting everytime i want to use the WI kit?
thanks

a WI kit will establish a margin of safety. It should allow you turn up the boost a little without problems of detonation. If you do nothing but add the WI kit, your intake temps should be cooler allowing you to have a little more HP under your current setup. If you add boost, kiss your tune goodbye unless you already have a margin of safety with fuel that in conjunction with the WI, it will still be safe for you and get the xtra ponies..

If you use a small nozzle, you won't need a retune...but once you taste the sweet smooth power of 25+ psi on pump gas, I think you'll be converted.

Martin, can you give an estimated price for your kit (I realize it may not be the final price)?

Thanks
