I already ran the car using stg 1 (12.81 105 mph) stg II 12.66 @ 108...

But last week I finished to install BR STG 4 and something went wrong because my best was 12.50@110

Really I verify every inch of my car....
and I put special attention to:
1) Timing Belt
2) IC Hoses

I verify my wideband and is reading 11.70 to 12:00 with C-16 in 4 gear.

I need some help......

 

What was the boost? Stock clutch?

 

12.5 isnt a bad run, where do you think you shoudl be 12.0 12.1??? 60ft????? tempature???? how much c-16 in the tank??? lotta variables....ive only ran 12.6@113 with my setup due to some problems but there were a lot of variables that were hurting me also....

 

you added 2 mph... what do people typically get out of a stage 4?

The 60' were 1.72 and temp was 85 degrees. The tank was full with only VP C-16

I have BR Stage 4 with custom dynoflash and ran the below with stock clutch and 93 octane gas with full weight (jack, spare, etc). 20psi and stock clutch was not holding. My clutch is gone now.

12.10 @109,Stage 4, 110 octane, AEM and 18" rims. Second run in the AM, around 75 degrees low humidity. I broke my collar bone so I have only been able to run 12.30's in a lot off pain the last few times at the track. The 12.30 runs have been in the PM, 80 degrees plus and high humidity.

The 12.10 was done launching at 4500, shifting at 7200. So far that is my best time. And I did that in the morning before I broke my collar bone.

 

What kinda timing were you running w/ the C16?

 

First of all, why are you running with a full tank of gas? You should run less than 1/4 tank. So that should be a 10th of a sec right there.

Second, with the C-16, why only run with 20-21 psi? You might as well crank it to 25 psi even though it will taper down.

With cooler weather and more boost, you should easily be in the mid-teens trap wise.

 

I had Tim S. set up the AEM at Buschurs. I am trying to find the base settings right now in the laptop, I don't feel like pluging it into the car right know. The AEM log is showing at 1004rpm it is at 18.16, on a full load at 7566rpm the timing was at 16.75 in 4th gear with that 12.1 run. The boost is also showing 21.62.

 

you can run more timing ,, im running 21 deg from 5900 to 7500 on 93 octane with no detonation at 19 psi... it likes timing and to run hot...but not too hot

Woa, you ran a 11.18 @ 127? Post some stuff about your setup. I'm not into drag racing as much, but that sounds fun.

nice! same time as me. Nice 60' time? It looks like something happen between 1000 and 1/4. At what RPM were you launching and was this on stock clutch?
