0234 Engine Codes

Well i had installed the ats clutch the other day in my car. put the car back together and now the car is running like hell. I had somsone pull engine codes for me , and they said it threw the 0234 code wichc he and mitsu told me is a wastegate actuator malfunction code
i have the hks evc 5 in my car

i figgured the ecu would get a problem with the wastegate from the factory boost control solenoid. but if the presure lines arent hooked up to the facotyr solenoid it shoudl think everythign is fine shouldnt it?

\car runs fine at like 11 psi but when you go past like 15 pounds its like its pulling timing and/ or fuel cutting.

anyone have any sugestions with it?
i would bring ti back to the dealer but i just put that clutch in and i know they are gonna try and nail whatever the problem could be on that.

Hmm.. It sounds like there may be something wrong with your install causing an overboost condition.. are you sure your gauge is reading correctly? Do you have a gauge or are you using the display on the Boost controller?

My best guess is your experiencing an overboost condition, but you gauge is not showing you the correct boost level..

Also, did you use all new vacuum lines, and not try to reuse (or tap into) the stock lines?

The actuator itself doesn't have any electronic connections, so it gets its information from a sensor somewhere which tries to trigger boost cut (closes the boost solenoid, cuts fuel and timing)

I was under the impression that there was only one Baro sensor and it wasn't on the intake manifold, it was in the MAF sensor..
