ok last friday i had a apexi avc-r installed every thing seemed to be working fine every now and then i get a pop like a boost cut off or a fuel cut off not under high boost the highest iv hit is about 14psi ( slowly verry verry slowly working up ) and i just went to go for a drive and i had a nother "pop" and the SES light came on i came back home was less then a mile away and poped the hood and checked all the connections and they all look good i need help any one !!

 

I have the same boost controller but never had that happen. I don't even have a clue what it could be but something was definately installed wrong.

 

ok.. can u tell me what ur settings are im going to try to see if turbotrix has an opening tomarrow to check it out.. cuz i duno im tryn not to blow my engin up ... ( why im starting at low boost ) thanks for ur help and fast responce

Sorry bro...I was out and about all day. Mt settings are as follows: Boost is at 1.40 with 53% duty at 3000 RPM's. F/B speed are all set at 1. Lear gear is on on all gears and start duty cycle are all on 0%.
Ceck the "car select" option and make sure that is set up correctly. CYL is set on 1. SPD set on 4 and THR arrow should point to the northeast corner.

ok koo thx ill check that cyl set to 1? u sure?? thought that is number of cyl of engin.. aight ill give it a shot i think thats it. thanks for ur help and if that works ill be set. btw what the kg/cm^2 ur running with the 1.40 thanks again sorry for going on the rant just stressed gettn my car painted on monday and dont want to be haven engin problems.. ugg last thing i need .. and every time i called turbotrix today ( sorry if i spelt wrong ) it was buisy or just rang and rang and rang.. so monday im loosn my car for probably 4 days cuz of it gettn painted and im just stressed. thanks again.

 

ok i tryed the cyl = 1 and it just gave me errors on rpm so i changed it back to 4 then its 4 and then its up to the right.. i have the gear judge set, and learn gear set off. set the fb all to 1, boost i have set low but i set the duty to the 53. and the pop doesnt happen every time its allmost random.. tryn to figure out why im tryn to get settings.. check the cyl 1 thing for me and do u have the rpm wired into rpm or into injector signal thx dan.

 

I have the rpm wire hooked up to the injector signal. That is why the cyl=1.

 

ok koo.. ya just read that.. tryn to figure out why and you beat me by about 5 min.. what lvl of boost are u running psi or kg cm sq

 

I'm running 21 psi......but it tapers down to 20 psi
