Just for giggles, I removed the air filter and top part of the airbox and drove it around the neighborhood.

Will I get more sound out of my stock EVO by installing a K&N airfilter? If so, what is the K&N part number?

 

I won't drive with no filter if I was you. No additional sound if you are talking about the drop in.

 

you'll need an open element to get that sound. The box eats it all up..

 

I wouldn't drive around with out a filter. Lightsped have you ever been to one of our meets?
