Fidanza Cam Gears - Trimming of cam gear cover?

How much trimming of the cam gear cover is required to fit the Fidanza cam gears?

Not too much, basically you have to trim the instide to make the smooth, take out all the raised grid lines that are around the gear then it will fit. I did mine with a drimel tool and it wasn't to bad.

Hope it helps.

Ok same as other gears. For some reason I thought I read that the cover required either more work or it simply couldn't be used.

Thanks!

Freedom, my car has the Fidanzas.

When you take off the cam gear/timing belt cover, you'll see stiffening ridges on the inside of the cover. Trim the ridges that are circular and a 1/4" into the "+" ridge that is centered inside the circle ridge. There are two circular ridges, and they face the location of the cam gears.

PM me for more info.
