There are plenty of powerful evos out there. You should have been at the Socalevo Huntington meet a couple weeks ago there were some nicely built evos there. Just looking at the car isnt going to tell you how powerful its is. You can witness the power and handling characteristics of some of these Evos at EOC events. http://www.socalevo.net for ,more info.

i was there noone that dynoed even put out 300 except my friends shop car and one more car that was close to 300 everyone was at like 260-275. Oh yea the two evo's that put out 450 and up were company cars, so tell me where the horsepower was? i understand not everyone that had power dynoed but i didnt see alot of cars that had their hood popped with any upgrade kit and if they did have turbo upgrade using s-afc to tune it. Again i am not talking **** i am jsut wondering all these people on the forums say 350 hp 500 hp i havent seen one yet

True there are alot of talkers in the LA area, with any type of car, and the only high horsepower(400+) cars were shop cars that dynoed. Im in ventura county so Im not sure of which Evo owners you have met. Talk to Ricardon on Socalevo.net and ask him which cars really have power, he knows everybody with an Evo out there. Next time there is a meet Ill have my car there, it was getting some work done so I couldnt bring it.

Yep, Smogrunners Vishnu Stage 1+ put down 354whp that day. A few days later on the same dyno, Turbo Magazine's project EVO (with another Stage 1+ running pump gas) put down 335whp. A few minutes after that, our red shop/One Lap EVO put down 563whp.

Robi's Buschur/RRE powered Evo which was not dyno'd is quite the machine. He is a good person to talk shop with. Smogrunner did well, and the C16 helped out a bit too.

Youre not going to find to many people, if any, that put out over 400whp on 91 octane. Its just simple physics, its a 2.0L. Now if youre talking a little more octane, thats different.

420whp and 400ft/lbs torque on 91 octane using a dyno jet. It's not easy but possible.

Well I guess I'll assume 300WHP because that seems to be what your asking from others? So do you have 300WHP? There are plenty of EVO owners close too and well over 300WHP, but I must admit there doesn't seem to be as many EVO specific tuning shops here on the West Coast as there are on the East Coast.

Jay - you need to come out east one day...real gas = real power ! Seriously, there are a fair number of people in the NY Tri State area alone with similar setups all running 330-360 at the wheels on pump gas, stock turbos...there are a few that are even higher (highest I saw to date on a daily driven car was in the 365 range)

I can slo point you to quite a few cars in the soCal area that have some really good numbers...not everyone posts on these boards though
