Buschur 3" TB exhaust help!!

Has anyone else had some fitment problems with the buschur racing turbo back exhaust w/cat delete (and magnaflow muffler). For me, the muffler sits real low, maybe like a 2" gap from the back bumper, also i get a vibration on the floor from the exhaust sometimes. I followed the instructions as best as i could, is there anything else that I could check/do to help ?? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I didnt get any rattles but I did have the gap as well. You can redrill the hanger and move it up a bit, but dont move the hole too much or the whole system wont line up right.

Sounds like you need to rotate the mid-pipe (B-pipe) to get it off the driveshafts carrier bearings. I've got the same exhaust you've got and that is what I had to do. It also helps if you tighten everything down with some preload on the exhaust by holding it to the passenger side while you tighten everything down.

HTH... Let us know how this works out.

I had the same issues as well....it was like a 1/4" from the carrier (driveshaft) bearing and hit all the time. So I did just what JustDSM posted and it seldomely rattles anymore. I thought about redrilling the hanger for the muffler but just haven't done it for fear of more alignment problems. I will probably leave it.

manOfaith. I've done that and I didnt have issues. I dont like my tip on the bumper, but mine seem'd a little low so I made another mounting hole about .75" below the orignal to bring it up.

I had to lower it in the rear, My exhaust sits a couple of inches below the rear bumper to make it fit. But it certainly flows Noice, a lil loud but it works.

I have the same problem. don't know where the rattling comes from. The (b) pipe didn't seem to touch the carrier (driveshaft) bearing or be near it, the rattle only sounds seldom but more often when I make turns. It's not a normal rattle it sounds strange I think it might be the factory cat heat shield.
The only real thing that bothers me is that SES light I researched the forums; everyone has suggestions but no sure answers.
David Buscher suggested drilling out that little breather hole (forgot what that’s called)
But I'm kinda scared of taking a drill to it.

Buschur 3" TB exhaust, CATCO high flow cat.

sophic, I (well, Ultor did it...) drilled out a "breather" hole, and it seems to have worked.

as far as the original question, I used the Kartboy hangars with my BR exhaust, and it sits fine with the magnaflow muffler. With the angled JDM muffler it was bad, though...

The only problem I'm having is the rear muffler keeps falling off or slipping off. Love the sound and exhaust but I think I will never use slip fit again. Too much trouble.

SterlingEvo: Where did you get the kartboy hangers from? I have the same setup and if it worked for you i'll try it. I also get the vibration around turns, the exhuast in this one spot sits about 1/4" from the floor of the car, I can live with a little vibration here and there, but i just want exhuast to look clean, not hangin down and angeled. vbmenu_register("postmenu_1133449", true);

I bought them from Dan at Mach V. He's a sponsor here: www.MachEvo.com Here's how mine sits now, which I feel is perfectly centered:

Here's mine. These were taken before I moved the tip up about .5-.75"
