Smile Newbie ? about exhaust piping sizes

I am purchasing an 03' evo this weekend and was wondering which piping size is more beneficial for the stock turbo? I will probably only put intake, downpipe, exhaust, and dynoflash, and maybe some 264 cams.

Does anyone have the HKS hyper exhaust? If so how do you like it?

I was planning on getting a 3 in turbo back exhaust, but i noticed that other manufactures offer 85mm also. I really like the look of the HKS hyper exhaust, and the HKS ss dp.

i read somewhere on this forum that HKS makes a 2.75in dp, but when i go to their site they only offer a 2.55in. What other manufactures offer a 2.75in?

thanks in advance

I believe WORKS carries a 2.75" (70mm) dp. Check 'em out in the vendor section!

i too was thinking about getting 3in all the way back, but when i read some other posts people opt for the 2.75in because they say that it is unnecessary to have 3in unless i plan on extensive modification in the future.

Like i posted before i would like to keep things simple with just intake, turboback exhaust, dynoflash, and maybe cams.
