hks ssqv problems

i purchased my hks ssqv bov yesterday and installed it right when i got home... the blow off valve is great and im not having any idling problems but my problem is that there is this one aluminum piece that u use to cover the hole on the intake... i clamped it down with the stock clamp till i couldn't twist it anymore and for some reason the damn aluminum cover still keeps popping off after i drive around for a while... when it's on my car runs fine... but when it's off it starts bogging and idling at around 500 rpm... anyone had this problem or know of a way to fix this problem... dont really wanna drive around with my car bogging and i dont want to lose the aluminum cover... TIA

Erwin

Yeah i had the same problem with my HKS bov, but all you have to do is replace that aluminum piece with something that goes down deeper so you can actually clamp it down. The problem with that piece they supply you with is that it is too short so it keeps slipping and eventually popping off.
