Anyone had use the HKS stainless steel Manifold and HKS GT Extension kit (turbo outlet) on a stock evo 8 turbo. Care to comment on the advantages beside the weight adavtange.

Do a search for HKS manifold on here and you'll find some opinions. I don't remember anything good being said about them, but I don't think anyone has used them with the stock turbo. They have a reputation for cracking.

 

Depends on what your ultimate upgrade plans are. If you will get a upgraded turbo someday better to wait and get it as a package. The GT extension kit has a downpipe + Turbo outlet but is pricey and not the biggest offering out there. What size Cat and Catback are you running ??

I am using the HKS downpipe, stock cat and HKS Slient Hiper Catback exhaust and I was wondering does the HKS turbo outlet help in the stock turbo setup.
