Review of my Fujitsubo Rm-o1A

I went from the stock setup to a Helix 3" down pipe and a UR Cat with the Fujitsubo exhaust.
The Exhaust fit perfect and lines up great , I added about 50mm to the cat which made the tail end fit better with the bumper and the hangers had to be bent on the down to make them line up.

Sound wise, This thing is so Quiet , Idle is about the same as stock ( Deep) but all the rest of the RPMs you cannot hear it at all. I plan to put a test pipe on and remove the cat now I know how this thing works.
The Turbo spools a little quicker and it feels much stronger all the way to redline now.
I measured it before I put it on, It is 2.8" at the cat , necks down to 2.6" at each resonater and 3 all the way to the 4" tip.
Well worth the $$$$ @ only $750.

Cool! Nice to see someone go with something different! Fujitsubo makes great exhaust systems! Glad you are happy with it!
Btw, Did you get the J-spec RM-01A or the U.S spec? The reason I ask is because our rear bumper is slightly larger than J-spec rear bumper. The j-spec exhaust might cause the rear bumper to get dirty faster. Can you provide some pix?

Thanks

Cal

I havn't had chance to take pics. I got the Jap spec exhaust , I welded an 02 bung in it plus one extra for a wide band.
I moved the band clamp on the can forward slightly and bent the other hanger forward too. I added about 50mm to the cat which moved the whole thing back to not to have problems with the bumper.
It is so quiet, I have built many exhausts for Turbo cars I have built in the past but nothing this quiet for being 3"!

I have the O2 bung welded on my RM01A also. This is a great option for people like me that want a quiet exhaust that also flows well. What was Fujitsubo thinking when they decided to make this a one-piece? :/

I looking for a quiet 3 inch exhaust for my daily driven car. I'm gonna trade or buy a quiter system then my greddy Ti exhaust and this one seems great. Does this exhaust have any resonators and if so do it taper within it? I can always get the reducer cut off and put back to 3 inchs so thats not a problem. Also do guys have any pics of this system?

It has TWO resonators. My options were to run something quiet or...... stock. I am extremely pleased with my exhaust. It has exceeded my expectations.

This is not my car. I can take a pic for you when I get a chance (not today though). Hooptie: I think so but I am not 100% sure. Adam @ Z1 should know.

Yo that's my car. FYI, the exhaust is taper down on the flange that meets the cat and the resonators are also taper down so I don't think its what you look for. But its dead quiet even without a cat.

Well a 2.5 inch exhaust piping is plenty for a 16g. Going to an aftermarket turbo I would agree that a 3 exhaust would be better. Otherwise for a stock turbo car this system should be just fine.

I measured it before I put it on . I did post it in the first post.
At the cat , it measures 2.8", it drops down to 2.6" going through each resonater but the piping is 3" and it finishes with a 4 " tip.
I will take some pictures if it ever stop freaking raining here.......
