Of course it pulls better after you put the fuel pump in before the tune. I thought the exact same thing. I was sold too! I bought it too! Until I got smoked by a guy with almost no mods compared to me. Then all I did was change tuners and now I smoke him and it is even a very safe AF ratio! You have no baseline, I do. Your "butt dyno" is broken. I never said your car was slower, just slower than it can be. I really don't care about your car and what it is doing. I am saying your brain is experiencing the placebo effect. No offense man. Buyers remorse sucks. I had it the whole time after I ran my friend (we always run every time we mod to see the difference). Now, the results are visible. I am sorry you are offended. I am only making a suggestion to make your car BETTER. It's not an order, dude. Live your life! But open your mind.

Actually it ran like crap when i put the fuel pump in just hours before the tune. After the tune, it smoothed out.

Getting "smoked" by someone else in another Evo does not prove your car is slower or prove your Dynoflash doesn't work. Talk about your broken butt dyno.

He may be a better driver or has a particularly strong Evo from the factory. Some Evos dyno 20 WHP less than others stock for stock. All Evo tuners agree on that.

There is no way just changing your ECU tune you went from getting "smoked" to "smoking' someone else.

You have to be kidding if you think 800+ dynoflashes are all bogus and none, zero, nada show some gains even modest. Customers see it firsthand basline dyno pulls and then after and see the gains.

Whatever, all I know is I feel a smooth linear powerband and I saw the Motec reading A/F right in front of me. I don't think Dave Buschur would endorse Dynoflash and work with them if the product was bogus.

Yes, I went from getting smoked to smoking. And it has nothing to do with driver. It is a straght line in 5th gear only. No shifting, no driving. And he will openly admit that I am a better driver anyways. PM him. He is jason@ntec on this forum. If you need more credibility than just the eyewitness to ALL of my tuning woes, contact godog6 on here. He can also attest that I know what I am talking about. If I don't, I don't talk. Simple as that. If I was wrong about this, I would not be posting about this.

Hey man, a lot of what you just said took me out of context. I'm not going to argue with you anymore. Just know that you wasted your money when you compare your tune to ANY other tune. Of course you make more power than an UNtuned car.

Ignorance is bliss. Enjoy your Dynoflash.

I should have figured. Jason. He was the one over on the other forum bashing and talking smack.

How can use base the performance of the flash by a 5th gear pull only. The dynoflash gives nice midrange and low end gains. You are looking at only one part of it. How do you know you were at the same boost level as your friend during the pull? he may have been pushing more boost, maybe his or your gauge is off, cluch may be slipping, better gas, a whole host of other factors.

You are the ignoramus. I'll keep my flash, thank you.

If I decided to go with another tuner, and pay more money, what gains will I get? A measely 2 to 4 or 5 WHP if that and that's enough to smoke someone? Give me a break. There is no major HP gain going with a turbotrix flash, Vishnu, Works. They are within range of each other. It's more to do with your mods that will set your car apart. I have modest mods and don't plan to go further.

Sorry if you had tuning problems. Let's not blame the ECU tune. My car runs solid and pulls like a ***** and it was not nearly the same car before the flash.

I can't believe you can't write bi t c h. What is this site run by Mormons?

If you dont get someone to properly and skillfully tune your "mods" they wont work to their potential. Simply because someone, who has a LONG (as in Internet Years) history of monkey business, can bit-flip and taught themselves how to use some techtom equipment doesnt mean it's the end of the story. Just keep the sand out of your ears while your head is buried and watch out for those Jack Mormons...those are the nasty ones!
