Cam Q's

I have read a lot here about the various cam setups. Could I trouble you guys for a semi-definitive guide on cam choice?

Im really looking for issues like which setups are used for what, etc. Low-end power vs. high end power vs. drivability vs. whatever else.

264/264:
264/272:
272/272:
500/500: (paying attention?)

gracias!

264's will provide more power down low in the power band.
272's will provide mid-range and upper rpm power. More pic these for drag racing.

The combo is picked in an attempt to optimize the advantages of both.
