Im running a full TB, and im catless. I was driving very spiritualy in the farm roads of MD, and I was leading a group of cars, but everytime I looked back they are either switching positions or they are like 3 or 4 cars behind. Well the told me my car was poping good size flames on the run. I know im running rich without the cat, but would this in any way harm my engine or turbo? my avereage speed was 85mph, in the upper 5500+ rpm ranges for a good 15 minutes, mostly 2nd and 3rd gear runs.

 

dont worry about it

the worst it will do is burn your bumper or get you pulled over

haha nice..my car does that too...although my friends think its kool as hell...i have never seen it..yeah it wont hurt anything..dont worry about it..just make sure u keep an eye on the bumper....

 

I played around with a bud in his evo on the highway one night around midnigh, empty road so don't worry, after I got ahead of him a bit I shifted from 4th to fifth at a higher rpm, don't ask as I don't remember, and he said I blew out a harty sized flame. I run full 3" turbo back w/o cat.

im pretty sure thats a cat-less thing. i run a hiflow cat with a highly modded fuel setup and i dont get flames... but i bet i would with a strait pipe.

 

I run full tb also without cat, not sure if I spit flames tho lol...i'll have to get a friend and check up on it.
