Z1Auto.com now has its Lancer Evo section online!

Just a quick note to let you all know that our Lancer Evo section is now online, and we are putting new items jsut about every other day. For right now, the main items on the page are to suit the Evo 7, although we offer a full range of parts for all Lancer Evolution models, from Evo 1 through Evo 7.

We are direct dealers for the following: Tein, JIC, Power Enterprise Japan, Mine's, Cusco, L'aunsport (lots of replica WRC parts!) Garage HRS and many many others!

In addition, we are monthly subscribers to Lancer Evo Magazine from Japan, and as such, have access to all the latest parts for your Evolution model...if you see it, even if its not something we stock, we can probably get it.

Remember, the current Evo section is just a start...we will have online instructions, detailed pictures and specs of all parts, downloads galore of both customer and motorsports Evo's from around the world, so stop back often, and don't be shy..drop us a line!

Thanks

Adam

Sweet site. Makes me wish I was back in the NorthEast instead of here in the SouthWest. Then I remember what it was like growing up in Montreal. The RallyArt ECU is tight! Will you ship to San Francisco or do I need to drive up to Long Island to get this component installed? Can I swap it for my current '03 OZ ECU?

Thanks,

Unfortunately, short of full on stand alone like an Electromotive Tec 3 (we are the NY distributor for Electromotive), there is nothing I know of. The Ralliart ecu's won't work at all.

Actually it probably would work but like crap. I have run my E5 on a stock Lancer ECU but with terrible results.

A TEC3 would run around $2600 shipped for a complete system. This is a full engine management system, not a plug and play ecu. It alows user programmable mapping of fuel and ignition tables, and comes with its own proprietary ignition coil pack setup. You can read about it on our site as of tomorrow night, or at www.getfuelinjected.com. we would ahve to do a custom mount for the triiger wheel/crank pulley, as well as for the pickup, but that is not difficult as long as we have a car here to base it off of. I suspect though, that unless you are planning on a monsterous Lancer OZ edition car (custom turbo, etc.), this is not the ecu for you though...you would be far better off with something simpler like an HKS SAFR or Apex'i SAFC, but again, only if your level of mods calls for it. Unfortunately, our familiarty only lies with the factory turbocharged (Evo) versions, so I am not sure at what point the US spec NA Lancer requires such fuel computers, etc.

For a setup like this, unless you are intimately familar with the wiring and setup of standalone engine management, it is a job best left to a professional familiar with the systems.

Question Great deal for complete remapping

I'm just getting sick of the throttle cutting off when my reflexes are on. I need an interim solution until a trade in the OZ for a new Evo. Will the HKS SAFR or Apex'i SAFC provide this level of tuning efficiency? I'm a whole continent awat from you, but I can easily find a shop or individual mech to do the install.
