You'll find this happening in much more than tuner conversations. It's just how life works sometimes. I think it would be easier if you learned to live with disagreement. It makes the world a happenin place!

Let me put it to you this way:

If two people in business always agree, one of them is not needed.

The one thing I would say though is the internet makes some people a little more bold than other times. I know I have done that in my time. I dont think you can argue that things might be a little better if we just focused on the good of our paticular company than knocking others.

Well, yeah! It's always less stressful to be idealistic rather than realistic! Hey, Internet or not, I'm always bold! (but not smooth)

Vishnu is top notch stuff man. I have personal experience with their customer service. Above and beyond A+, stayed up real late and fixed my own error. i made a mistake, but they still offered to help me fix it, NOTHING was wrong on their part. now that is customer service. thumbs up to brian at vishnu.

I dont post alot but I do read on this board quite often and have been a member for pretty longtime. This topic does come up alot considering all thigs said Im leaning to vishnu myself.. As of now I have no real mods aside from BR's filter, some cosmetics and gauges and I bought the exedy clutch (installed).

Reason im leaning to vishnu is they seem to make extrememly reliable power. Plus what I read in a say sports compact car and other mag's were they have a shoot out and the big dog's of tuning compete vishnu has really lit up the board.

So all in all I would rather spend extra $'s or whatever bucks to make good reliable power then have to tune myself. One im not a tune monster and I dont really know where to start I can follow directions but that only helps to an point. Its there real brains out there like dave and shiv that should be doing tuneing because thats what they do.

my point is shiv's vishnu stage mod's (my eyes on stage 2) may cost a little bit more but it seems worth it. One they have proved that they can compete with the best and there cars seem to feel as reliable as stock. (thats a big plus to me)

All feedback would be a big help!
I only have a Vishnu stage 0 XFlash plus with HKS filter drop-in, dp, and cat-back exhaust. I am very satisfied with the mid-range punch. It pulls hard all the way to 7500 RPM. The other day a M5 raced me on two stoplights (I'm not condoning street racing) and I was ahead by more than a car lenght at 80 mph on 3rd gear then let go of the gas because of the next stop light. I launched the car at around 6000 RPM. We did it twice and the same result. He may have problems launching his car but a race is a race. Then he finally rolls his window and ask me to do it on the freeway. I told him "no thanks, I only have 3 gears, hehehe". Then the guy just took off and I didn't bother chasing him.

I dont know how any stainless exhaust could be prone to rust. I do know that exhaust comes with V-banded clamps.. which makes for a leak free exhaust system.. NO gaskets. A bit more money , but you get what you pay for

Just think of not having so many parts is easier on the wallet. My Vishnu Stage 1+ has a total of 4 parts that I installed myself. There are a lot of people on this forum that can't even do their own oil changes let alone install any parts. Now you start talking money for injectors, removing your front bumber to install lower intercooler parts, and cutting the wires in your ECU. Oh yeah, do you want to use your car as a daily driver because the cold start on those AEM EMS's will have you wondering whether you bought a 79 pinto with carburetor problems or an EVO. My Xede has two maps which I loaded up in less than 5 minutes time. I can run my crappy 91 map or a race map to lay some smack down on track days.

Sometimes its nice to list and use evey aftermarket part that is possibly made for the Evo, but when something goes wrong you are going to have one hell of a time trying to figure out which one of those parts is the problem child...
