I have the ACT 2100 w/ street disc and I am launching at 6k, and it grabs like it's an Exedy twin disc. Unless you have some serious power like 450 and up whp you will be fine with the the ACT.

 

Exedy Hyper single. Stock like clutch feel and stronger. Having burnt up the ACT Evo 8 clutch, I should know.

 

Well man theres alot of guys here who like to talk like BIG INTERNET GANGSTERS and PRO tuners w/ a ton of experience racing/tuning. You can tell who they are because they will be the ones taking offense to this post...... lol . The EVO is amazing and CAN drag well BUT if you dont know how to launch it you WILL break more expensive things than just your clutch. Eventually your t-case will bid you farewell and then your in for a $3-$4k fix that will soon reoccur. You should really look into talking with the guys @ Buschur racing and ask them who you could take some driving lessons from if your going to drag the car. Theres a guy who just ran an 11.4 on the stock clutch and most of that ability is driving which Buschur racing will tell you so thats my advice. A few driving lessons is alot cheaper than dollars and hard knocks!
