Cusco twin-plate clutch...

I might be in the market for a new clutch soon and was curious about people's experiences with the Cusco twin-plate clutch. How is the the driveability and durability of this clutch compared to others?

I think most ppl are going with the Exedy twin disc...but that isn't what you asked, is it? I had a cusco clutch in another car and it was great, but heavy pedal...not the same clutch you asked about though. Guess I dont have much for ya!

The cusco is made by exedy (it has exedy stamped right on the front) the pedal feel is the same between the 2 the exedy is backordered from almost every where the cusco is in stock (for daily driving/track either is great)

Hi Hungbee112, I've the Cusco twin in the car for 1500 miles, it rattles when the clutch padle was push in, it grabs better, padle feels firmer, driveability is good. No problems so far, haven't launch it yet though...The difference between Cusco (carbon metal mix) Exedy (ceramic metal Mix) diskes.

I understand that the exedy would be a safe way to go, but I was wondering if the Cusco or even the HKS one are better in any ways. I'm looking for reviews on clutches period, especially those that have put a good amount of miles on an aftermarket clutch. Anything to aid in a decision for a clutch.

In your opinion, how is the driveability compared to stock?

I have the cusco twin plate and the driveability is just as good or better than stock. I'm sending you a pm now.
